Gambhir has probably been India's most crucial player in crucial chasing and match saving positions for a couple of years now.
In both tests and ODI's.

He is very crucial for this chase and i would back him to be there till atleast 200 on the board.

Geeez when he lands them right, looks so dangerous does Krezja.
He does. He's the most dangerous wicket taking spinner in Australia by quite a margin, but just has one or two 4-balls. It's a shame, from our POV.

good cricket this build a partnership work the ball around 1s and twos and try and blunt the Aussie attack that way.

Huh. Was gonna ask if he was likely to get a bowl but seeing as he's only bowled against Kenya in this comp I figured he wasn't part of Australia's plans. Hasn't taken an ODI wicket in ages.

Somebody tell Ian Chappell that the players are not getting onto the front foot to spinners today is that the bounce is consistent and lowish and the pitch is slow .
Which allows the batsman all the time to play most balls on the backfoot.

He just keeps criticising the bowlers too much.
