Get an impression that ball is not coming on the bat easily. And Yardy has done well bowling flat, straight and fast.
A bowler like Swann gets hammered and at the same time someone like Yardy does alright, what it tells me is that modern day cricket isn't going in the right direction!!!

Are you high? I am not talking about Yuvraj- i admit he's crap in tests. I'm saying, people seem to be talkin about Anderson on here as if he is a true world class player- ie someone who can Not only win the Ashes, but succeed for them in WC matches. I was merely wondering that, if people are this opinion, why he isn't performing in ODI's

People aren't comparing Anderson and Yuvraj. Yuvraj is a crap one dimensional player. Anderson is supposedly an extremely skilled player, who they feel can be a huge advantage in this World Cup. So how come he isn't showing this multi dimensional nature?
Who's been saying that today? Nobody

Anyone would think you weren't actually new

God this is dreadful bowling.

Seriously Strauss is a real muppet when it comes to tactics at the death. First he tries bombing out Watson/White at the MCG when there's so much space that you're never gonna get a wicket off a top edge, then he puts all his fielders on the legside to Clarke/Dussey (of all people!) and now he decides that half-trackers are the way to bowl on a slow, dead pitch!

Finally one of these rank half-trackers gets the deserved treatment.
Have a feeling that England come prepared with a plan from the dressing room but when that plan doesn't work they don't much else to work with.

Here it seems they came with the tactic of bowling short at the Indian batsmen but despite that not working they haven't really tried to do anything different which is surprising to say the least.

Read the edit. Agreed, though.

Dunno what's wrong with Yuvi when he's up against the spinners. He use to pull even marginally short balls at will at one point.

Haha. Not really. Yardy will not get wickets usually. Swann will when not bowling to Tendulkar :D
