Yes. He slipped while reaching for the shampoo - despite having as much hair as Jenna Jameson fresh from a visit to the waxing salon.
And this from a member who claims that I'm not funny.

Hey, that one about debate crawling off the hook was quality, mate - far better than anything I've EVER seen you produce.

Now make like a sheep and bleat it.

Michael Jackson would be turning in his oxygen chamber to hear you butcher one of his lyrics like that.

Sounds like you have fairly big tickets on yourself - pity no one else is buying.

lol, clash of the titans.

Anyway, it seems like McCullum has been every Kiwi's pick for 2004, 2005 and 2006. I don't know that he'll do anything really special while batting at 7 or 8 in the ODI line-up, it's hard to make more than 50 or 60 batting down there. He really needs to cash in and make perhaps 2 or 3 test centuries, although that's a huge ask, especially considering NZ seem to play about 1 test every 6 months these days.

I'm no match for you, Voltman - I'm going to retire gracefully content that my legacy is safe in your hands.

To you, I bequeath both of my jokes - I hope you can make use of them. Just remove 'Kiwi' and insert 'Welshman'.

(You might have to use a crowbar, though).

Sanath’s shampoo excuse too slippery
TREVOR CHESTERFIELD

COLOMBO, JANUARY 4: It is a bit of a red herring, but as you would expect of made up stories, there is more to Sanath Jayasuriya’s so-called dislocating a shoulder in a New Zealand hotel bathroom than the team management’s excuse of him reaching for the shampoo.

After all, why would a man 80 per cent bald want to shampoo what remains of his hair when soap will do?

It is, says a contact in the board, nothing at all to do with slipping in the bath. The truth of the matter is that the right shoulder injury sustained in mid-October still has not healed sufficiently to allow him to bat or bowl with confidence. Jayasuriya was advised to follow Sachin Tendulkar’s example after his elbow operation. But he ignored all advice and told the selectors he was ready.

It was the lure of the “filthy lucre” (“more one-dayers is more money,” as a Lankan source put it.

I very much doubt that. Lara's a sensible guy and knows his limitations. I'm fairly certain he won't be going on after the World Cup, and if that's the case, I'm even more certain that he won't score 5 double hundreds between now and then.
