Lol no he wasn't, McGrath was literally taking 3WPM @31.He did, so did Sachin, who was extra shite on mean.
Anyways, at my least you admit this is a blemish on McGraths career.

I have watched, and both those come from Sachin fans, truly ruined Cricket debating. He is not my friend. Nor do I gaf about any of these numbers with small sample sizes for Mcgarh or smith or anyone. Country x, country z. This is modern phenomenon. Peope never did that before. Thats not how players were rated. You have to watch.
He was, he has marquee performances, STILL averages 36, means he was **** outside it, it's the basicsLol no he wasn't, McGrath was literally taking 3WPM @31.

I think I prefer that than someone making 30 odd everytime they come to the crease. He was, he has marquee performances, STILL averages 36, means he was **** outside it, it's the basics
McGrath did well in SA too, and not even on easy pitches, like 630/8 type wicketsI think I prefer that than someone making 30 odd everytime they come to the crease.
But he showed in SA with tougher bowling conditions that he can average well past which is why I am more forgiving for this blemish than McGraths.
But to be clear it's not my primary argument for why McGrath should be behind Tendulkar.
Old enough to remember old sachin, the 2011/12 version? Thanks. Sachin pre 2003/04 vs Sachin post 2003 are two different players. If you have not actually watched pre 2003/04, there is no reason to discuss all this. We are all silly that we discuss players we have not even watched. It's frankly delusional.not only am I sufficiently old enough to remember Sachin, the fact that you have such a cultish mentality that anyone rating Smith over Sachin in Tests is not credible is truly worrying.
so Okay then, answer, Ponting or Smith? let's see your credibility.
Yes. I saw Tendulkar at the late 90s as well, I'd rather watch him than Smith anyday, but Smith's results are barely if different at all, and that's all that actually matters.Old enough to remember old sachin, the 2011/12 version? I agree McGrath did well in SA, there were some easy pitches and others flatter though he had scoreboard pressure. I think the surfaces in Aus were slightly tougher and this was the best batting lineup he faced at homeMcGrath did well in SA too, and not even on easy pitches, like 630/8 type wickets
another strike
Scoreboard preassure now?I agree McGrath did well in SA, there were some easy pitches and others flatter though he had scoreboard pressure. I think the surfaces in Aus were slightly tougher and this was the best batting lineup he faced at home

Nah.. now, Lara on the other hand...I don't think Pakistanis would rate Sachin over Smith either, can't vouch it's for cricketing or non cricketing reasons![]()
We all know about minnow bashing. If you want a live demo of minnow bashing helping bats, watch England vs Zimbabwe
God help Pakistan if that is the one you choose to represent them.
