I'm sure if he could bowl anything other than loopy pies which spin about an inch, he would have done! This is a school Under 15 'B' team we're talking about here, remember.
I thought you said he was a Sussex trialist?

The legspinner who got hit for 28 in the match I played in was an Under 15 B player, the other guy who got hit for 34 was a Sussex trialist playing for the 1st XI, age 16. Sorry, I wasn't too clear.

It was definitely the Sussex guy I swept though! I've been facing the other guy in nets for the last 6 years, I've swept him plenty of times. Especially since he gave up bowling. :D

Our 1st XI leg-spinner, who is actually good (Sussex triallist) got hit for 34 off one over two years ago! It was 666466 apparently. He also suffered the indignity of being swept by me in the nets the other week. :D
Haha, identical nearly to moi...

Trialled for Somerset, a few years ago I got hit for 666661.. And suffered the indignity of being bowled by Neil Pickup and reverse swept by one of his "students"

What does Neil bowl? He always claims he's terrible, but I'd be interested to see exactly how bad he is - I reckon I can lay a decent claim to being the worst player on CW. What level did you play Neil at?

I think he bowls medium pace.

He seems to be not a good batsman regarding his thread about him making 17 runs career best,

Anyways It is funny to see people getting hit 5 sixes in one over and still claim to be a good bowler,Being hit 2 sixes is enough I assume,

It is also funny to see people having a signature shot such as the hook because the only time you can hook is when the bowler bowls a bouncer which rarely they do.

Played a game yesterday took 2 wickets and contirbuted with the bat as well,

I am really going to develope myself from now on I still have a good chance for playing for USA team other wise will move to a cricket playing nation

Yes, but 17 runs means nothing unless you know what level he is playing at. If he was a bowler playing at club level that wouldn't be that bad. If he's a "specialist fielder" playing at club 3rd XI level then that indicates perhaps his talents lie in other areas...... :D

People start playing cricket club before going on to play in top level,

17 run is nothing no matter what level you are playing in.

You're back in Sherborne now, right? That's an hour, tops, on the train (direct) to Exeter Central, which is 8 minutes from my house and the same from the County Ground in the city, so you're in on the next meetup over the summer (mid August is the likely go)

I can bowl offspin, legspin, medium pace outswing and slightly quicker inswing. The one I did Rich with was my googly which pitched 3 or 4 inches outside off, turned in and through the gate into the top of off stump (nets). I also trapped him LBW with a great big floaty full toss.

Suggest Bob talks to his coach regarding being hit for sixes whilst still being a good bowler. I would also point out that Steve Harmison opened the batting for his club age group at your age and made centuries.

Neil's got a better googly than me, so he's got something sorted.. Far too loopy are his stock balls though and needs to cut out the occasional grubber (as do most leggies)..

I very much doubt he is the worst player here.. I bowled at him a good half an hour at good pace and he played straight to everything pretty much, I couldnt get through... A kind of Hoggard with the willow... I'd like to bowl at him on a wicket with a bit of bounce in it though

Square cut I reckon is mine. Though the off-drive has oddly become fairly easy for me after being one of the more difficult ones for me without going aerial. Darned if I can play a proper on-drive though, my head is always in the wrong place so feet end up in wrong place (or is it other way round?) and it just thuds into my pads.

Generally the head goes first so the feet have to error-correct to avoid the overbalance and subsequent ****-planting.

And its funny that a guy who can't even string an English sentence together sees fit to judge cricketers who've actually gone and done something... You're whole cricketing setup is an embaressment.. I'd love you to go to Australia or England and see how real men play cricket.. In fact, I'd love nothing more than to embarass you personally and dash your surreal expectations...

Haha I am sure there are other things in your life that you would love to happen more but I know what you mean. Cricket Player is deluded. No one who is actually any good at cricket that I know talk themselves up as much as he does.
