It's worse when you consider that Azhar was on debut on that tour as well; not exactly the steadying influence on a lineup you think of when you see his name.Wow, that really is an awful batting line up

Having Oram and Vettori down the order makes it okay.It narrowly predates 2010, but this motley crew deserve a mention. Surely there haven't been many worse top threes.
From the second innings of the third test, they were dreadful. The scores from that point onwards read as follows: 178, 152, 161, 148, 94. Granted they were okay in the first half of the series, but the fact that they couldn't pass 200 in the second half of the series- a point when England scored all over 300 to the exception of 205/4d- means that they were awful.Well not really.
Bowling has been superb. A very pleasant surprise, been fun to watch so much skill and variation in an Indian pace attack. Hope they can stay fit.Yeah if we didn't bowl as well as we have and England batted like 2011, I'm sure our batting would've looked a lot worse than it does.
They were roads thoughI'm sorry, I can't help it sometimes.
Why? They won’t be visiting England when they’re the home team. They also won’t be playing Tests in November in England.Wait a couple of months until England sans Cook returns after the tour of Sri Lanka
2014 atleast can kind be excused since literally the entire batting lineup was extremely young and were touring England for the first time.In real terms? Pakistan 2010, easily.
Against expectation? 2011 India probably, although the 2014 side came with quite a lot of unwarranted hype and were poor.
I'm pretty sure it would have been their first experience of such a long tour as well.2014 atleast can kind be excused since literally the entire batting lineup was extremely young and were touring England for the first time.
