Going to sim the warm up games this weekend so if you want to impress make a player now. Fillers will be nerfed a bit so the team with more forumers playing will have an advantage for the urn :)

Warm-up Match: England vs Invitational XI

After a cautious first hour, England's Herreonaes took his first international wicket of Daemon before Thrust, much more economical, joined in at the other end with one of his own before lunch with the score on 80/2. After threatening a counter-attack, the Internationals innings began to teeter when Herreonaes trapped top scorer Marwah lbw and Idrisi was forced out through injury. Thrust and Smythe-Brown bothregularly chipped away either side of tea and the visitors were bowled out for a below-par 211 an hour before the close.

Arquis and Vicente safely negotiated the remaining hour of play on day one, but Roome struck in his first over of the second day as Vicente was removed for 9. the New Zealander went on to be the principle thorn in England's side, removing Arquis and Howe either side of lunch as England stuttered into triple figures.

The innings really got going when Herreonaes joined Inskquid at the wicket and the pair began to build an entertaining, attacking stand of 90 through the rest of the afternoon. In the final over before tea, Herreonaes raised his fifty before being run out in a dramatic mix up, but Inksquid kept going and was able to put on another solid stand with Mole, taking the home side into the lead before England keeper raised the first hundred of the summer.

Though England looked set for a big lead, but Roome once again started a day strongly. Assisted by a couple of wickets from spinner Mahar and another curious run-out from the English, he was able to complete a battling five-for and limit England's lead to double figures. They had managed 310, a lead of 99.

England took control on the third afternoon as Daemon was first out to Thrust for 3, before the other two seamers chipped in to leave the Invitationals effectively four down (Idrisi still unable to bat) before they had worked off the lead. A decent stand between van Jarsveldt and Jacobs was broken with the score on 165 late in the day, and on the fourth morning the roating England seam attack consistenly picked up wickets as the target moved slowly past 100. Davis and Mahar entertained the crowd with a gutsy last wicket stand of 35 in six overs, but England would be confident of chasing down the 141 run target.

Roome and Davis were not quite ready to call it there, the former getting Vicente for single figures for the second time and Davis finally claiming a pole to make England fans nervous at 23/2. But Howe joined Arquis to hit England back out of danger and the pair's century stand sealed the eight-wicket victory.
