Going to tempt fate and go for Imran Khan, who averaged 60 with the bat post 1990 but only took eight wickets in those nine tests at an average still below 30. Therefore will play him as a batting allrounder though his bowling should still be useful - and captaincy wise, albeit in a different format, post 1990 he was decent enough.

Unless someone else wants to do sims they won't be done. I was going to resolve the "best" team by a public vote, and include a special note against any players who had the bulk of their career earlier than the 90s.
