Should the BG series have 5 tests from next time?

Well, yes and no.

No way they play 5 tests when doing ODIs and T20is. Instead split it up unto batches of 3 and 2. Play 2 this year and 3 in a couple of years, or vice versa. Or make it 3 and 3.

You want to see the best XI vs XI at their respective peaks. Right now by thd 4th test, original Aus pacemen are gasping for air, and Indian pacement have gone home.

No way. South Africa has been playing only 3 tests against Australia in a series since their return in 1992, I believe 4 tests are sufficient.

no limited overs games if we play 5 tests

maybe make it a series that happens every two years

chop smith's hands off at the wrists and put it in epoxy

we will fight over it and call it the Hands Series

You gotta bin the limited overs stuff from the beginning of the season if you want to play five tests

Yeah I think 4 is fine. 5 can get awfully boring if it gets one sided halfway through and 2/3 can sometimes leave you with blueballs if its really competitive and ends 1-1. Last couple of series have been extremely close both home and away, but it wont always be the case.

Yes. Ind-Pak is obviously a bigger rivalry but Tests between the two are often boring as hell (back when they played each other of course). This is actually great cricket.

In Australia, Yes
In India, No.
I don't want to see Rohit Sharma scoring 4 centuries and a double to inflate his record.

As things stand with the two teams, wonder how a fifth Test in the current series would've gone. Kartik Tyagi for Saini would be the only change for India, but Aus might've had some thinking to do.
