The superb all rounder, John Reid

Not a bad pick for 12th round. I haven't yet picked anyone outside Aussies, Poms and Kiwis!

I actually very nearly went with Reid but changed my mind at the last minute to Redpath - one New Zealander in Dempster was enough for my team. ;)

Yeah, was what I thought, unless Hammond could get through a few overs but that's not perfect.

If you go with Jake's suggestion you could have something like this:

Jack Hobbs
Trevor Goddard
Wally Hammond
Dudley Nourse
Stan McCabe
Clive Lloyd*
Vinoo Mankad
Jeff Dujon+
Shane Warne
Waqar Younis
Courtney Walsh

Very strong batting and the bowling is ok as well. Goddard, Mankad and hammond will have to do a fair bit of bowling though.

Think Waqar and Walsh as opening bowlers are pretty dandy tbh. Goddard is no mug as change bowlers go. Then obvz Warne with support from Mankad with Hammond as the partnership breaker. Sweet.
