Sahara India Parivar have announced they are withdrawing their sponsorship of the Indian team and the IPL franchise Sahara Pune Warriors. The news comes on the day of the IPL 2012 auctions, where 144 players will go under the hammer in Bangalore.

So will this bring down IPL? Sooner the better.
Doubt it, but the feeling amongst all franchisees is that Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are being favored in certain things over the others.

I think the heigths which IPL reached have been reduced, but don't think it will end. It has been on a downward spiral since Modi left.
