most atg sides would deadset love india to roll out rohit in an all time side.

snick, snick, snick.

i view him similarly to the likes of roy, finch and guptill. amazing power hitter and even in rohit's case a good red ball batsman in some conditions but when the chips are down and atg odi bowlers are moving the new ball around in the channel, is he even gonna reach 30?

the answer is no.

Bangladesh:

1. Tamim
2. Imrul Kayes
3. Ashraful (because of that innings at Bristol)
4. Mushfiqur
5. Shakib
6. Aftab Ahmed
7. Alok Kapali
8. Mashrafe Mortaza
9. Mohammad Rafique
10. Mustafizur Rahman
11. Rubel Hossain
can't do a BD ODI ATG XI without Abdur Razzak

I'd debate Aftab and Kapali's inclusion in there as well. And probably leave out Ashraful because he's a fixer.

I'm curious to know what your all time Australia team looks like that is clearly better than the rest. Afaic, in Odis Australia has no Bradmanesque player therefore, their team is very much comparable to the rest.

Probably

Gilchrist
Hayden
Ponting
Jones
Symonds
Bevan
Watson
Warne
Starc
Lee
McGrath

Better than the rest imo

I know consensus is to slot Symonds in at 7 but that looks iffy for reasons already well discussed. Australia don't have a Dev or Klusener. I know he's nowhere near the best LO cricketers from down under unlike Roy but O'Donnell at 7 makes the most sense in terms of team balance imo.

Lee is not optional ffs

You're already going to have McGrath bowl out at the top. You'd want to keep Lee away from the death too. Imagine Starc and Bracken at the death on the other hand. Would be so good. O'Donnell and Warne in the middle overs.

Yes. Outstanding XI but some of the other XIs look as good.

In case WI need a spinner, we can cheat a lil and include the contentious Sunil Narine.

Plenty of bowling if you have Watson opening, Symonds at 7. Well actually Symonds at 5 and Bevan and Hussey moving down to 6 and 7.
