The 31-player All Blacks squad is named at 12 noon tomorrow (NZT). Assuming they go for a 14 backs/17 forwards split, this is my predicted squad:

Backs: A Smith, Perenara, Weber, Mo'unga, B Barrett, SBW, Crotty, Lienert-Brown, Goodhue, B Smith, Ioane, Reece, Bridge, J Barrett

Forwards: Coles, Taylor, Coltman, Franks, Laulala, Moody, Tu'ungafasi, Ta'avao, Whitelock, Retallick, S Barrett, Tuipulotu, Cane, Savea, Squire, Todd, Read (c)

Great squad. Quite excited by the inclusion of so many young guns, especially Luke Jacobson over the likes of Squire and Fifita.

Sadly, Owen Franks' illustrious ABs career appears to be over. Such a terrific servant to NZ rugby, and his wonderful record of never having scored a single point in 108 tests is unlikely to ever be broken.

The opening match between NZ and RSA is going to be an absolute belter.

It could be but it's annoying that losing it won't put either side in danger. It's a Test match, so it counts, but doesn't really feel like a world cup game.

Pool B just kinda sucks.

It makes a big difference to which side of the draw you'll go through though. However loses has a much tougher run.

Love Pollard's kicking style. Must be one of the least quirky in world rugby.

Biggar's probably the most, ftr.

Boks sending a warning...this swarming defense is monstrous right now....suspect NZ will start kicking deep soon...which releases Kolbe...this is fun.
