If this is what Rahane and Thakur are doing the Ashes worries me. Don’t think we’ve learned “how to deal with batters coming at you” effectively enough.

Ponting has been in the rotation here too tbf, and we still have Langer.

I'm sure we'll have more English commentators in the cycle then but it does seem like the Aussies will probably be Langer, Hayden and Ponting which is ... ugh.
Well Sky have used Sanga so he will probably be part of it. Presumably Doull too as he is here. Then the usual English crew, just hope no Nick Knight or KP.

Will Aussies have different commentary team to ours or use the Sky feed?

going to be a 3-1 defeat for Aus- or thereabouts imho. not more than 1 game win. England has the most destructive batting lineup in world cricket - as proven over the past 12 months.

You selected Neser ahead of Starc, yes, but then you dropped Green for "Inglis/Harris."

Banned.
OK, i will drop Green for Inglis for no.6 position, but Green's playing role defers to Neser, who Starc gets dropped for. Forget Harris i dont rate him but they've picked him in the squad so theres not many specialist batter options. Mitch Marsh is injured and isnt test standard.
This isnt a good performance imho from Starc and Green, India is miles below England in terms of quality in these conditions.
That should be fair.

Starc bowling himself out of the team if Hazlewood is fit? I'd say Boland has to play as he gives control. Starc is almost Mitch Johnson 10/11 standard so far.

Can we for once run through a good side without a massive partnership somewhere in between?
