Tbf Lewis, Hety, Pollard, Russell and Allen are all missing. They are absolute lock ins for our best XI. So this was a second string lineup, now with the COVID absences it is distinctly third string.

Still, it's a chance to see what Drakes, Smith and Shepherd have got.

Not too favored by the captains it looks like...he was good against AUS in the Caribbean...maybe they felt that this wicket was too much inclined towards the batsman, and left Walsh out...

So our team management has got selection wrong in almost every match for the last 4 months. Playing only one spinner in these conditions seems ridiculous.

Tbf I have seen him bowl 150kph quite a few times. The man is seriously strong.

Also, shepherd is a gun player. Saw him **** NZ-A around in a tour match and play one of the best t20 Innings/allround performances I've ever seen in the format in last years CPL in a DLS affected game, he's going to go far.
