On a more serious note, having a mentally fit Bravo would add a great deal to the side. So would Narine. But they desperately need a decent third pace bowler. Otherwise they will be India with worse batting.
Roach, Taylor and Holder are all decent enough IMO. Their problem stems from a lack of depth beyond that given Roach's massive injury problems, and I suppose the fact that they think a stack of other bowlers are better than Holder.

SA T20 squad -

Reeza Hendricks
Morne van Wyk
Rilee Rossouw
Faf du Plessis
Dave Miller
Farhaan Behardien
David Wiese
JP Duminy (for the last game)
Aaron Phangiso
Imran Tahir
Kyle Abbott
Marchant de Lange
Kagiso Rabada
Wayne Parnell

So none of these players will be available for the first 'A' test match v the Lions.

Be interesting if van Zyl & Bavuma play in the Lions series. They should and probably will.

Geez, that looks weak.
Would go - Hendricks, van Wyk, Faf, Rossouw, Miller, Behardien, Parnell, Rabada, Abbott, Tahir, de Lange

Duminy in for Behardien for the 3rd game
Phangiso is ok but that isn't good enough
Wiese - see Phangiso
Seamer all-rounder is a big issue at the moment [bar Philander in test arena] so Parnell will be continued with as brings left-arm variety I guess. Got 3 young all-round talents that will hopefully continue with our all-rounder pedigree in the future but more so in 2 to 3 years as all young or had injury issues.

Harmer has to debut tomorrow.

Nice and orthodox like Dane Piedt but both can turn it. They say Harmer's selection is with our sub-continent tours in mind coming up. George Lindealso excites me just as much as a option down the line with his typically rhythmic slow-left-arm.

They are all proper spinners for the longer format but it seems in todays cricket there is a greater use of limited overs spinners and then test spinners.

Tahir facing a suspension too but if he is left out does it effect him mentally for the limited overs ahead of the WC ? Even there his star has been fading though ?

Is Piedt injured? It's weird that Harmer has leapfrogged him IMO unless they're going with five bowlers and thought they needed the batting.

Piedt injured himself in the Champions League. Going to be an interesting battle between him and Harmer. Ideally we need Linde to get regular franchise cricket too but Piedt is with the same team. Might have to go spin twins at Newlands like the old days.

He's in the process of returning from a pretty major shoulder injury. Only one game back, and took 1-147 or something equally shocking. If they picked him now, he'd be massively underdone.

Holy **** there are sooooo many cracks. Batting last will be pretty tough I reckon, good toss to win. Hope Windies put up a good fight here.

Great over!
-A clasic cover drive by Devon Sheldon Smith
-Watching Denesh Ramdin read a Capetown sales brochure
-Dale Willem Steyn's fast delivery pulled to midwicket by DSS

Why are the Windies batting first if Holding think it's a dream bowling track?
Because it will get worse and worse to bat on!

Uneven bounce already! This is shaping up to be a tough test pitch, might be some really good cricket to watch.

Steyn looking a bit wayward here, but then of late he takes a bit of time to get into a rhythm before ravaging through batting lineups.
