Yeah would think he'd not play as a specialist spinner, though. More a low-rent Marc North. TBH, despite his record, I rate him. Turns the ball, useful drift and drop. Problem is he's anywhere near ready to play Test cricket because he doesn't put it all together consistently yet. Like Warne, I don't reckon he needs a 50+ wicket season before he gets picked. If, in the next couple of years, batters around the country are saying he's good, pick him.

Honestly wouldn't understand a need to shore up the batting, tbh. The current Aussie batting line-up should not be going two Tests without a ton. They're just underperforming, not crap. Need a swift kick up the Hussey.
