SA just lost 2 in 2, the ball will definitely be swinging. Ferguson the time is now.

Time for the main attack to make a statement here. Skittle them out now and it'll remove a few of my lingering doubts.

Not if it's cloudy. It's when it's 30 and sunny I'd think the questions are there.

Good that there's some play though. Not enjoying this waiting for the Ashes to start tbh.

EDIT: Good to see Ferguson play himself in - 12(11).

Would be enjoying this run-a-ball knock of Ferg's were I at the ground but I suspect it won't last. Swing bowlers will always go for more runs because they're throwing it up there looking for swing. Just feel a big nick is a moment away.

Yeah but what I said aside, Ferg's most vulnerable time in FC cricket is once he gets past 50. Has a lot of 50's and 60's in his career when you need to throttle back a bit and consolidate. Bats best when there's a sense of urgency. Be interesting to see how he bats with post-lunch when the adrenaline goes and the English bowlers are a bit more likely to bowl to contain him.

Go play with your glorified adding machine.

Besides, there were a couple of airy boundaries so it wasn't that pretty.

Playing against this England line up, 35 per batsman is more than enough really. They'll never get that many.
