Scorecard won't remotely capture just how infuriating that innings was to watch
I thought it was a bit strange he came in ahead of Inglis tbh. Was probably some "left hand/right hand" bull**** tactic. If Inglis faced 37 balls out there he would have made 80 or 90

They have more ODIs against India in October, don't they? I assume Carey will miss those to play Shield so maybe just giving him an opportunity to bat.

Yikes our poor bowlers :(
It's a road, and short boundaries. Still a big score but not a good place to be a bowler.

This is exactly the kind of conditions the Aus selectors had in mind with this squad. Add Mitch Owen and Matt Short instead of Marnus & Connolly and it's a batting line-up that will either make 400-450 or get bowled out for 150

Both Bosch and Mulder playing as frontline bowlers is something that would never happen in a serious game. Fully expecting them to score 100+ between them now that I've said that though.

Bosch was pretty good tbh, the only quick who looked like he had any idea as to how to contain the scoring
They should both be vying for that Abdul Razzaq spot though. Mulder is probably better when there's something in the pitch and Bosch on roads but you shouldn't be banking on em to get you 10 overs regularly. Feel like SA needed a proper bowler in place of an AR today.

The problem was Maphaka had a horror show , and they probably felt they wanted to protect the kids confidence by not letting him bowl 10 and maybe concede 100 so Bosch and Mulder were asked do a job they normally aren't comfortable with.

So, looking at this, and with the last two games in mind, how much of this series has actually just been "win toss win game"?
