Australia won the toss first game , picked the wrong bowling attack for the conditions and lost comfortably, second game they were pretty woeful ..SA could have won that match a lot more convincingly if not for gifting wickets with the bat , and dropping a whole ton of catches ..So, looking at this, and with the last two games in mind, how much of this series has actually just been "win toss win game"?
Well by "win toss" I mean more "bat first win game". All three games, it's definitely been a lot tougher to bat under lights - there's actual movement on show out there, were there wasn't at all for SA in the sunAustralia won the toss first game , picked the wrong bowling attack for the conditions and lost comfortably, second game they were pretty woeful ..SA could have won that match a lot more convincingly if not for gifting wickets with the bat , and dropping a whole ton of catches ..
This match Australia have just had way too much quality and gotten after a 3rd string bowling attack ..so don't believe toss was a huge factor.
I was thinking the same thing. Looked a different game batting at night all seriesWell by "win toss" I mean more "bat first win game". All three games, it's definitely been a lot tougher to bat under lights - there's actual movement on show out there, were there wasn't at all for SA in the sun
Crazy to think we've lost De Kock and Klaasen in their early 30's, that's some top quality keeper bat talentZampa must have thought happy days when Klaassen retired only for brevis to turn up and his nightmare against the SA middle order to return.
Any chance that a home World Cup would convince one/both to reconsider retirement?Crazy to think we've lost De Kock and Klaasen in their early 30's, that's some top quality keeper bat talent
And we probably replacing them with brevis and Pretorius. Kind of similar luck we had with Steyn getting replaced with kg.Crazy to think we've lost De Kock and Klaasen in their early 30's, that's some top quality keeper bat talent
Would a coach ask them back? Given he doesn't lack for talent?Any chance that a home World Cup would convince one/both to reconsider retirement?
Unfortunately no, they've made it quite clear they want to play T20 leagues onlyAny chance that a home World Cup would convince one/both to reconsider retirement?
Definitely the talent is there , but he needs to give himself a chance , otherwise he will end up more like Maxwell than De Villiers in terms of batting output.Brewis looks some talentbaby ab

today's shot was horrid. Needs some discipline in longer formatsDefinitely the talent is there , but he needs to give himself a chance , otherwise he will end up more like Maxwell than De Villiers in terms of batting output.
