*Official* Second Test at the Adelaide Oval

irfan

State Captain
Reckon if England are struggling to get a breakthrough - I'd get Colly on to bowl fastish off-breaks aiming at the rough. He is more likely to get them to grip than Broad who is currently doing the same thing.

International Captain
That was very close and again,2 very close catching chances, Swanny causing plenty of problems out there.

These two are going to get into all sorts of bother if they keep playing Swann from the crease.

Can't he carried the injury into this test IIRC
So the rule is that if you sustain an injury during a test you can use a runner, but if it's an injury from before the match you can't use one? How could they prove one way or another when the injury occured?

This bowling is a joy to watch. There is a real method behind the bowling and you can clearly see what the bowlers are trying to do, even if they havent taken any wickets. Well played both Katich and Watson as well, really had to apply themselves against this quality of bowling.

Ruckus

International Captain
If Aus manage to get through today with a lot of wickets still in hand, then we actually have a really good chance of drawing this match. The forecast for tommorow actually does sound pretty bad: "Cloudy with a shower or two during the morning increasing to showers and the
chance of a thunderstorm during the afternoon".

The draw is currently 1.51 on betfair... seems incredibly short to me.

England bowling exceptionally imo and with such a long tail you feel a little luck and the pressure is straight back on the middle order.

Good start from Australia but still optimistic, Swann bowling really well, just have to stay patient and he will get both of these two.

Where did you here this irfan? 9 and abc radio seem to think he picked up up during play and didn't carry it into the test? Haven't herd the opposite anywhere.

Rain about to hit according to the bureau. Looks like we'll be robbed of the final session again, maybe even part of the middle one.

wonder if hotspot would have shown anythin. I'de be inclined to review tiny feather edges just for a punt.

Still, shows he's a gent and well bowled swanneh
