The financial changes ahead of Season XIV are as follows:
1. The salary cap has been reduced from 64 to 60, after analysis of a financial report on Season XIII spending. This should still allow teams to sign a reasonable squad.
2. Banked points (ie, those remaining from last season's contracts) are considered as 20+banked = 5 Season XIV points, 15-19 = 4, 10-14 = 3, 5-9 = 2, 1-4 = 1.
3. Each title and trophy earns a team 2 points. Thus CW Black won 6 extra points last season, and CW Blue won 2.

CW Green - 60 + 5 = 65
CW Red - 60 + 2 = 62
CW Blue - 60 + 5 + 2 = 67
CW Black - 60 + 2 + 6 = 68

Teams may now start talking to the players out of contract. Please note that a player becomes a free agent when the incumbent club passes on a player or the player passes on the club's offer. Before that, no other clubs may contact the player in a view to sign him. The CWBCC will monitor the process and expects fair action by both club and player.
After all squads reach a minimum of 15 players, rookies may be approached, but details of that will be announced later on. If there are any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Because we have not had an official sign-in process yet, please be wary of activity when considering contracts. Of course a player will have to confirm the contract on the forum, but you don't want to sign likely inactive players to your squad. Please try to ensure that the player will be active before signing him.
Keep in mind that each club may sign 4 CW XI contracted players [3 central, 1 secondary] but have the option of paying an additional 5 points to sign a 5th contracted player.

Interesting if I stayed at Blue that would mean they would have 13 points to sign 19 points worth of players. Would basically force a couple players out of club. Not very fair on those guys.
Anyway considering Mat away on holidays. Can I just announce I'm signing a three year contract with Green and who over is taking over the leadership short term can confirm it.
