Yup - he's 100% reverse swinging it, something I've sworn he isn't capable of and I've never seen him be able to manage before. If you look at his seam position it's setup for his usual inwards towards the right hander, he's getting them to dart away late.OMG Boult!!! Haha awesome. That's definitely reverse right? Straightened beautifully.
Would've won the game already, he wouldn't have bowled so **** in the first innings.Drop Boult for Wagner imo
He'd have crushed the ball in the first innings with his angry hands and got us a ball that swung more.Would've won the game already, he wouldn't have bowled so **** in the first innings.
Dunno. Was akramesque if it moved half back half as much though.No. I think the very short distance between ball hitting ground and foot means not enough of a post-bounce path for tracker to be accurate.
IIRC Martin Crowe believes that ball tracker should only be used up to the point of impact. Until now I didn't quite realise his point
It's why you don't drop class after 2 bad games. It's amazing to me that Boult's gone through three innings of being pretty **** and not getting any conventional or reverse, to this innings where he's had both.
This is the first innings we've looked after the ball properly. Southee was reversing it in the 15th.It's amazing to me that Boult's gone through three innings of being pretty **** and not getting any conventional or reverse, to this innings where he's had both.
I never said to drop him. I just said I'd prefer Wagner in the line up if we decided we could only take two pacers in. :PIt's why you don't drop class after 2 bad games.![]()
There is no one on earth who can bowl a leg cutter like that. His wrists would explode.Dunno. Was akramesque if it moved half back half as much though.
I thought it was. There's no other way to explain it.Wasn't a full toss though
I'm just waiting for someone to be caught on camera tampering the ball with a bottle cap. I'd also like to see Anderson given a bowl because he generally extracts swing too. This is the first innings we've looked after the ball properly. Southee was reversing it in the 15th.
It goes wonky when the impact is that close to where the ball pitches. Simple science tbh. I'm just surprised this hasn't happened more often. It's a pretty big flaw.I thought it was. There's no other way to explain it.
Yeah might be.I thought it was. There's no other way to explain it.
I don't think the general public cares anymore tbh. A bit of scratching here and there is perfectly fine.i hope we have a bottle cap out there tbh. it would be so great. these guys would immediately become my favourite cricket team ever to take the field and i'd make a shrine to Baz, Hesson and Bond.
