Sinclair gets to 50. Astle looking promising at the moment too, has middled quite a few so far. Might get out now that I've said that though!

I recon his mother might disagree with you. :D

I wish that Sinclair would actually edge one of those deliveries to a fielder. Brought up his 50 with an inside edge for four. Damn cheek! :@

Sinclair was looking good, then he started playing really edgely (if that's a word). Good to see that he's getting knicks and ****ing off those Aussies, should be good frustratement value out there.

If NZ can manage to crawl to 220 for 4/5 then they should be happy with that effort.

HAHAHH
Just now Lehman dropped Astle. What a mess! Astle hooking to the boundary.

Ian Smith giving it to Bill Lawry again a little bit, "when he scores 50 or more he averages 205.5...I remind you Bill that he is on 54..."

NZ have thrown this away, could be worse if Aus held their catches though...

I thought McCullum's stumping was a bit too close to give out on just 2 replays...

Overall though Australia dominated (as expected of course), good innings by Oram though, hopefully he can get us through to 300+.

McCullum clearly shouldn't have been given out. I though he *could* have had something behind the line.

NZ could have a satisfactory day if they didn't throw their wickets away. Astle's run-out was pathetic, and the less said about McMillan the better. We can't play both of these players at the same time!

We need to get up to 300. 320 would be nice, but 1 more wicket and we are dead.

I reckon if NZ get 350 there's still a chance of taking it to the last day, if the NZ bowlers can restrict the lead to under 100.

Anything under 300 and this game will struggle to get past the 4th day IMO.

I honestly feel our attack will be more difficult than a good one because the Australian's will be under more pressure to put this attack to the sword.
I don't buy that I'm afraid.

I don't see how they'll be under any more pressure either way.

But it was given by the technology, so surely it was 100% correct? :D

There was enough doubt there to give McCullum the benefit of the doubt...it was VERY close.

Anyway, we got let off the hook big-time..we should have been out for less than 200 but Jacob Oram played superbly & we're now still carrying some hope into tommorow.
