Rightly so, he's done little wrong so far. Can't really be blamed for his low score in the second innings, was a great ball.

A noticeable decrease in the number of people bad-mouthing Tim McIntosh.
My assessment still stands. He's very vulnerable early, but if he makes a start then he makes big runs. I still expect he'll have a run of single-figure scores, but we can only hope. Let's not forget his record would be pretty mediocre if the Windies had taken the simplest of simple chances.

I like it!
I Still dont think he will do that well. I dont believe he will survive with those problems with the pull shot and short deliveries around his body. Think he'll average around 20 like How over the longer term and then get dumped in 4 or 5 more series,.

Trent Boult produced a great opening spell of 5 overs, 5 runs for 2 wickets. At the same time Shane Bond is doing his usual demolition work against Auckland .

I think Southee is still safe, he's been great in ODIs so far despite a poor effort yesterday.

**** there's a lot of seamers, will edit this down to people who average sub 30 (or 25) and economy sub 4.5 after today's matches.

Elliott is a quality one-day player and deserves another ODI or two, to say the least. I am convinced his one-day game is of international class. Just I hope a one-day specialist label is left on him..
