Tharanga doesn't fill me with confidence, I have to say.

Edit/ I never noticed before what a narrow batting stance Sanga has. And that's a nice shot by Sanga.

Ah, stroke. Don't think going around the wicket is a smart move with such a packed offside field though.

Nah this definitely isn't a good idea. Sanga can just use the angle to pick up plenty of free runs on the legside.

Really looking forward to watching this game in its entirety, these games start at an ideal time, UK time.

Pretty low percentage strokeplay from Dilshan today, really enjoyed his and Taits exchanges, but he just didn't maintain his focus. Yes that's how Dilshan plays, but to throw everything to a full delivery, swinging away was very risky, unnecessarily so and was just caught up in the moment.

Sangakkara looking good early, such an elegant batsman to watch. Got money on Jayawardene for Man of the Match, so hope Sanga doesn't go on and get too many.

Good god Ponting is so quick across the ground. Brave, brave move. Good call in the end.

Man, what kind of a wanker has his initials printed on the back of his helmet? :p

Chaminda Vaas would have probably needed a second helmet.

The need to rest Tait after his two-over spell just eases some of the pressure on SL, surely he can manage a couple more overs in his opening spell without it taking too much out of him.

Sanga and Kallis are the best players in the world IMO

Sachin's great but those guys dont look like getting out

Would say Tait could have got one more over especially given the break he got with the sightscreengate.
Watson looked hard to get away, Lee seems to be the easiest of the lot to get runs off atm.
