Lol Canada. This is precisely the reason why cricket is almost unheard of in Canada and surviving solely on the interests of the immigrant population. An overwhelming majority probably haven't even seen a cricket bat in their life.

The only way for people in Canada to know about cricket, and to spread it across the country is to first make it popular in the US. Once cricket starts to catch on in the US, it'll have the same effect in Canada. But, unfortunately, cricket will never be popular in the US no matter how much effort the ICC puts into it. It just won't.

As long as there is a sizeable community from the subcontinent in these countries the sport will grow whether the larger population cares or not imo.
