Give Kohli thr likes of Dravid, Tendulkar in peak form than bottlers like Sharma and Rahane and he too will win series..
The same Sharma scored 5 century in WC 2019 , something Kohli can only dream of.
Kohli couldn't score 1 century in WC 2019.
Maybe he is the bottler.

Window

U19 Debutant
IND between 2006 to 2011
Won in ENG
Won in WI
Won in NZ
Lost narrowly to Aus 2-1
Lost narrowly to SA 2-1
Drew in SL 1-1
Lost in Pak 0-1
Won ICC WT20 2007
Won ODI WC 2011

Anyday better than Kohli the choker.
India drew the series in SA during this period btw. That really was a golden run period with Sachin’s resurgence and Zaheer being near peak. Followed it up with a horror show the very next year though when they were all past it. Think this period could exceed that if we get our batting in swing conditions in order. Dravid was a beast in England but we don’t have anyone like him anymore.

Sorry missed that
Lost in 2006 in SA
Drew in 2011.
We also won 2 ICC trophies in that 5 years something I don't see India under Kohli doing.

sunilz you're being a bit selective. india got some good wins but they also ran into peak england in particular and got wiped off the park. the indian issues in the other SENA nations are technical, especially with the batting performances.

You mean peak NZ ?
If a team consistently fails under pressure then there is something wrong with the system, captain , coach.
Unable to chase 200 in ENG, SA in 4th innings , ICC WC SF batting performance, ICC CT F 2017 performance, there are enough examples to show that IND under Kohli don't like pressure situations.

weren't the 4-0 tours to england around 2011?

either way they were still under dhonis captaincy
And people rightly wanted Dhoni to quit captaincy after that.
We are demanding same from Kohli to quit captaincy of atleast limited overs .

yeah i agree with sunilz

ganguly was a **** of a similar nature and he enjoyed a peak as atest batsman when he had time to get dropped, work on his batting and get back into the team

kohli could avoid the being dropped part if he gives up captaincy and works on his batting without all the additional stress

we could also have a different captain for each format -a veteran player as captain for tests, a prospect who has played for a few years in odis who is not too old but not young either, and a young captain for t20s.

Losing a close semi to NZ not the equivalent of that 4-0 loss though.

Rohit should be captain, but the reason is simply that he's a better captain.
