How many times do Indian posters even here, one of the better places online, barge into non-Indian cricket threads with an out of context reference to Indian cricket? Insecure ****s, the lot of them.

Or was that only the guy with honest in his name? Is he banned? I swear I haven't seen anyone put so much "effort" into their posts with such little recognition from fellow board members.
, you mean honestbharani?

You've clearly not met Cow yet.

This is India's best shot at beating a top team away from home. Steyn's form is up in the air, ABDs form and mindset in a similar position. Plus, the opener's slot(s) is not as stable as it once was. If the Indian batsmen can negate Philander and Rabada and score big enough, they can really stretch SA.

just the opposite - BCCI didn't give Indian team any opportunity to prepare properly; after a long time SA is full-strength team; after a long time SA is determined to make fast picthes; SA opening pair is stable after a long time

If anything, India will have a much better chance in England and Australia - because those two team are much weaker, especially England

Wouldn't be writing an ATG of like that.
You are also forgetting Morkel is in the form of his life.

The openers are in a much better spot then they were 6 months ago.

The SA side is in goid space. Hopefully they get selection right and the groundsmen get the pitches right.

Will be good series but SA should win.

Tbh I have no confidence left in Steyn’s fitness. If he breaks down again it would only hinder the team. They are better off with Morkel, Rabada and Philander with Maharaj as a support.

England just dominated RSA at home. England are not much weaker than RSA.

England played very well in that series but SA were clearly under strength in that series.

No AB nor Steyn for the whole series. Kg, philander and faf missing one test each. It was a very unsettled side during the series.

You're correct but let's not pretend like there is a huge Gulf between RSA and England. England did also beat RSA in RSA.

Never claimed there was.

The sides are pretty close. Sadly for both the last 2 series the SA side has been very unsettled while England were very settled . England have played the big moments much better the last 2 series.
