A snail paced start from Dravid and Jaffer could only make things tougher for India so they need to show some intent.

Radio commentators were full of praise for Sharma who was first up to congratulate Symonds on his innings despite having him out on 30.

whatever happens, australia don't deserve to win this game. india lost the toss again, had their main strike bowler injured (and sreesanth from before), got the best team in the world down to 134/6 and had not one, not two, but THREE awful umpiring decisions against them. i guess the toss is just cricket, the injury to zaheer was terrible luck and the umpiring decisions have been nothing short of an absolute farce.

bucknor has been a shocking umpire for years. not spotting an edge is bad enough but not referring todays stumping to the third umpire was unforgivable. surely its time to put cricket out of its misery and take him off the panel.

Unrelated Public Announcement: Brett Lee's swinging it away with the red ball at the moment...for those who believed he didn't do this.
Rubbish. It's quite clear the pitch moved to the right.

He just wanted to shake his hand, who knows he might not get a chance like that again.

Good start from Johnson.

In regards to the commentators, imo after Lawry, Nicholas is probably the most Australian bias of the lot.

Jaffer and Dravid are under immense pressure here...it's akin to being out on your second date with a beautiful girl and trying to work out when you'll take the opportunity to snaffle that first kiss.
