Watson's career progression so far has been like:

-consistent high 50+ scores, trouble getting out of the 90's
-consistent low 50+ scores, trouble getting out of the 50's
-consistent 30-40's scores, trouble getting out of 30's-40's

I think someone said earlier that Bird moved it around more in the first over today than he did all day yesterday.
Yeah moved it appreciably in the air and off the seam both ways. TBF it might be the Broad being "on" effect, he does have the ability to extract stupid amounts of seam movement when he's on. Doesn't look quite so challenging with Bresnan and Anderson bowling.

From here England's middle order gave it away to straight balls from Lyon, think the fact the Aussies won't will be why they have a 50+ first innings lead.
