Just a draw needed(we would win comfortably) for us to be premier league champions

Haha it happens quite a bit outside of England.Would also be be bizarre for some team playing relegation fight standard football to back their way into next year's UEFA Champions League through the Europa League.
Not really, I don't think it's stretching the imagination to say that Arsenal have been troubled by injuries and City have woefully underperformed. Liverpool have had better sides in the last 10 years and not won it, so the fact they're doing it so easily should tell you something. Also, doing well in Europe has hardly ever been a measure of the strength of a league. One of the reasons Arsenal are going well is because they're not concentrating on the League (something Liverpool have previously benefitted from).Haha it happens quite a bit outside of England.
I dont think either English side is better than Bilbao but anything can happen in a final.
What will be funny is if Arsenal, Chelsea and United/Spurs win each of the European trophies. Suddenly the arguments from a few weeks ago that 'it is the weakest premier league ever' look rather silly.
Dude we had 26 match unbeaten streak which city never hadNot really, I don't think it's stretching the imagination to say that Arsenal have been troubled by injuries and City have woefully underperformed. My take on the EPL this season, is that although some of the prospective challengers for the title apart from Liverpool have been a little disappointing compared to where they might have been, I would say that some of the smaller clubs between Forest down to Palace in 12th have been really impressive in terms of the quality that they have shown at various times. Many of those sides have been far from pushovers and have run the bigger teams close in a way they haven't done for some time.Dude we had 26 match unbeaten streak which city never had

Agreed, and that's why it's become so hard for the promoted sides to stay up (although admittedly this season's cannon fodder have been utterly dismal and I'd expect more from Leeds and Burnley). The traditionally weaker teams are just so much stronger now. Can you see Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford, Palace or Fulham being involved in a relegation scrap next season? My take on the EPL this season, is that although some of the prospective challengers for the title apart from Liverpool have been a little disappointing compared to where they might have been, I would say that some of the smaller clubs between Forest down to Palace in 12th have been really impressive in terms of the quality that they have shown at various times. Yeah, they are highly unlikely to get involved in such a scrap unless they have their managers poached and don't replace successfully.Agreed, and that's why it's become so hard for the promoted sides to stay up (although admittedly this season's cannon fodder have been utterly dismal and I'd expect more from Leeds and Burnley). when it comes tactics he basically made silght modifications to klopps (like playing gapko as winger whereas klopp played him as number 9) while maintaining same style which players got adjusted quickly. His challenge would be how he would replace salah vvd and alison without dip in quality and form while challenging the tittleIt's actually amazing that a manager with his limited exposure of managing a top side is about to achieve what he is in his very first season at a top club. It's never easy to replace a successful manager at such clubs as we have seen in past (not saying Klopp is as successful as Ferguson for example).
Slot was clear on how he wanted his team to play from the beginning and, to highlight another crucial aspect, the players were gracious enough not to let their egos come in the way and adapted quickly to his style of play.
Slot will become the third youngest manager to win a PL title and the first Dutch manager ever.
Mate, you forgot you can only be a 'fan' if you were born there.Iam a Liverpool fan so wrote we![]()
The league has never been stronger. Regardless of the narrative around the title race it's pretty remarkable the team in 17th has the likes of Bowen, Paqueta, Kudus, Soler, Todibo etc. That West Ham squad would be a fringe top 5 side in any other league. My take on the EPL this season, is that although some of the prospective challengers for the title apart from Liverpool have been a little disappointing compared to where they might have been, I would say that some of the smaller clubs between Forest down to Palace in 12th have been really impressive in terms of the quality that they have shown at various times. I don't think anyone is asking other fans to enjoy another team's success tbhBoth of these things can be true though. The league does have great depth but you can't pretend that this is not the worst City team in years or that Arsenal have not been significantly worse this season.
People are always going to moan when you get a boring title race, imagine the reaction if this had been City. Fans expecting other people to enjoy their teams success is just weird anyway.
yet an embarrassingly slow midfield has been the Achilles heel for WHU. However, I take your point re the other players. The set up for the first half of the season is a reason why they are in 17th and the last two months has been on the beach. As I said, the better balanced squads of the likes of Palace and above have been good and often entertaining. The league has never been stronger. You only have to go up a few spots to find sides that are on the verge of European finals yet can't string wins together domestically.
I think it should be celebrated that the English league is so strong. I find it weird non-LFC fans are trying to play it down but I guess that's the tribalism agenda (sprinkled with copium) in modern football.
Best balanced Nottingham Forest squad this century. Could argue the same for Newcastle, Palace and Bournemouth.yet an embarrassingly slow midfield has been the Achilles heel for WHU. It's a really low scoring season points wise but that surely points to the league being more competitive? Both of these things can be true though.
