*Official* English Football Season 2011-12

Norwood's on Fire
Probably, but the difference with pele is that his tally includes friendlies

As Frank Skinner said, "that's like me celebrating my 25th joke on TV if 8 of those 25 had been on Richard and Judy"

Massive result for Citeh. If they can't draw belief from that it'll never happen for them. Expecting a tired and emotional DCYE soon.

Bah. Spurts have levelled v yer Potters tho.

If we have to lose that game to keep QPR in the Prem, then so be it!

Coates, Derry. <3

Excellent round of games. Shame Stoke couldn't manage to hold on for just a little longer, but nevermind.

Loved the way the cameras caught Kenny's reaction after the third QPR goal, excellent stuff. Wonder how long until he gets booted, even Hansen basically said that Liverpool were cack on MOTD.

Piss off Kenny. **** sake, defeat yesterday for QPR would have pretty much guaranteed their relegation.

Watched the Citeh game, thought it was really poor quality. Chelsea of course deserved nothing but Citeh were for the most part pretty average. Balotelli needs the histrionics or you would think you were just watching a slightly better version of Marlon Harewood out there. How useless was Lampard? Proper crap. Needs a ****e side and to hit a pen straight down the middle to show he is still the man.

Yeah that was sweet. Didn't really give them a sniff. Hoilett is awesome but this is the last year we'll have him I'd say. He'll be off in the off season for nothing. Still safety is looking much more of a possibility, and it's in no small part to his goals. Defense is starting to look decent too.

As for the Yak
Kean said he is confident that Junior will stay, so that means he is definitely gone. Good player, always use to like him even when he was doing a bad impression of Ashley Young, very direct and looks comfortable playing off Yak. Be great if he could stay as there wasn't much wrong with the side that beat Sunderland, an average Premiership side and that's all they need to be. Hope Formica stays also, think he is a really decent player, bit like Bryan Ruiz, far better than they want people to believe they are.

What the hell has happened to Blackburn recently? All of a sudden they look like a team who's far too good to be in the position they're in.

Sold their two best centre halves, third got injured and they started keeping clean sheets. Weird. Helps that Salgado and Givet are not stinking up the place no more.
Bolton game is massive, as United are up next at home. Win the local derby and Rovers may have enough points already to avoid the drop. As said, if QPR lost yesterday, you just couldn’t see them doing much as their run in is so tough.

Even if Blackburn avoid the drop, news that they are struggling to make transfer payments to clubs and are not playing players like Salgado not for footballing reasons but for financial reasons is a real worry. Doesn't seem sustainable.

We were awesome for the vast majority of the game. Just that 15 minute period where things went crazy,
Be that as it may, it counts for very little when you've thrown away a 2 goal advantage with less than quarter of an hour to go against a team which is hardly full of worldbeaters.
