***Official*** English Domestic Season 2014

Dunno.

Not like we're overburdened with quality seam options, especially with Chris jr getting his knee unknackered.

Think he's more of a long form bowler, but who else have we got?

Yeah that's true. Aside from Jimmy our white ball bowlers are a shower, and Jimmy not exactly good at the death.

Woakseyyy! Still not a white ball option for England if I am being honest but that is a good nut.
Yep I was a huge detractor of his bowling, but he's really got the revs up and that makes a difference in all forms. Still not quite sure about him, but as I say he's almost comparable to Jimmeh with the ball at this stage of his career.

Getting a bit of meaningless tap here.

Ateeq really saved us there, we needed that wicket desperately and his spell was superb. Jason Roy a magnificent talent though, certainly a lot of KP about him.

Bit of a problem for Warwickshire that Ateeq won't get many games in the Championship because of Jeets?

Eh, he has played a fair few FC games and just doesn't bowl in them. He wouldn't have bowled today other than us getting smoked early doors. He is probably a batting all rounder in red ball cricket at this point.

I think one can overdo the "you only need to see him to see he has something about him" thing, but, that said, the boy patently has something.

Seen him bowl twice when the chips are down now and came up to snuff both times, odd action or no.

I'll repeat myself on Dirtbag a bit here. Yet I find it utterly astonishing that someone is considered a specialist at something he's clearly so mentally unable to do.

I can only think in training, he bowls all these variations, and they all come out beautifully, the batsmen gush about him and say he's great. Yet when he actually comes under a pressure situation he's clearly ****ing awful beyond compare.

He should forget limited-overs cricket and try to use his pace, swing and height in first-class cricket by learning the basic abilities of line-and-length and everybody should just ****ing forget this death-bowler nonsense. Or retire, and become a model for surfer attire.

Yeah but 75 overs in red ball and 3 wickets tells its own story doesn't it? He has talent as a batter though, 2 hundreds already.

He used to bowl the first over of most innings last year but that didn't really work and he got carted, there is certainly a player there though you are right about that.

Yes, but when he plays he isn't bowling much because of Jeets, so the point remains the same. Wouldn't mind the kid at Somerset TBH.

75 overs isn't a lot to judge a career.
