600 minimum for a declaration afaic. If you're aiming to bat once, it's pretty pointless to declare at a score that will be surpassed if the oppo bats for much less than the rest of the match, because you don't save yourself any time. Every 50 runs they score now is going to be so much easier and faster to get than another 50 runs in the second innings.
