Pakistan didn't win that, England threw it away. Absolutely pathetic knuckle-headed display from the batsmen.
SOUR GRAPES. Pakistan bowled brilliantly in both the innings. They didn't bat as well as they should have , but they bowled much much better.

There, fixed it for you

:p
Don't forget the pinnacle on knuckle-headed-ness, which was Andrew Flitoff's shot.

"Kaneria and Akhtar. Hoggard and Harmison. Thirty-two runs and one wicket. A paddle sweep. Thirty-one. A flashing Harmison cover drive and a French cut. Twenty-three. A slower ball. An outside edge. Younis Khan at slip. The bitter aftertaste of mortality. 1-0 Pakistan."

So there it is. The best team in the world ends its reign. With the exception of Pakistan being a bit higher in the test hierarchy, it's back to normal.

Really?? Did England win the ashes then?? Or did Australia throw it away??

Absolutely predictable response i'd expect from you Scaly....You have just proved beyond any doubt to be the worst sport on this forum. Disgraceful effort Scaly....people like you give other England fans (many of them fair) a bad name.

Haha, well played Pakistan. But did anyone (including Harmison) not see that slower ball coming?

Great win from Pakistan. Now Australia just have to qualify for the world cup tonight, and it'll be like the Ashes never happened. :)

Oh really they're playing one Test series now are they? Who won the first Test and ended up losing 2-1 again?

For those that have been watching the match, how's Inzy's captaincy been?
A mixture of very good and bad. he should have brought back Akhtar first thing after the lunch. However, his fielding placements were pretty spot-on - Flintoff's wicket being a proof of that.

Danesh Kaneria bowled much better than his figures reflect in the second innings. I can't think of one batsman who was able to negotiate him properly.

Anyway, well played Pakistan. Tough luck, England but you only have yourself to blame. (Not to mention some brilliant bowling by the Pakistanies)

Oh come on mate. Every person in this thread who's familiar with your posting habits knew that, win or lose, you'd blame the English batsmen if England struggled. You do exactly this every time anything goes against England... belittle the achievements of the opposition while talking up England (or those English players you happen to like) regardless of the circumstances.

Isn't it funny that everyone else recognises that Shoaib and Kaneria were superb, while you blame it all on poor batting?
