Out. This seems to happen more often than you'd think. What would be the odds of sweeping on to your boot and getting caught? Happened twice or thrice against NZ also.

Stokes is pretty much a walking wicket vs Ashwin isn't he, love it.

Also that stat about Ashwin getting his first wicket around the 14 over mark is kinda ridiculous.

Cook's had a pretty **** test match.

He got out being a moron in the first innings when everything was going great for England, got done by the bowler second innings when the side needed him to make a score, and let India make a ridiculous score in the field.

Had better days.
This test is a stackable offense for me, he's gone and lost the series with it, been **** with the bat and relegated our seem options to part timers, with stokes for example having only bowled 10 overs over 3 days of play in 182.3 of them.

So dire to use a nightwatchman in these circumstances IMO. When you bat to nine you don't one of the only two non-batsmen coming in at seven and making one of your allrounders come in at ten. I could understand if it was to protect Root or something, but Buttler should've manned up. Failing that they should've sent Rashid or Woakes - I reckon Rashid given the chance would've preferred batting now than waiting until #10.
