5/93 now. Taylor gets out and the wheels fall off. Hamilton was playing well until he threw his wicket away and as I write this Chigs has gotten out. 6/93

2nd ODI today. Zimbabwe have won the toss and elected to bowl again. Sibanda and Jarvis have come into the side for Chakabva and Pany. Sibanda will be under pressure to perform and Chigs needs to contribute more than throw his wicket away and bowl a few loose overs if Zimbabwe want to level the series.

BD currently 5/142. Good performance by the Zimbabwean bowlers so far but Nasir is still at thw wicket and looking good. Good to see Chigs get a few wickets.

That's preposterous! From a guy who even now only averages 13.4. Amazing.

Very happy with the win. The batsmen really stood up to the challenge. Very pleased to see Williams do well as well as Sibanda at the beginning of the innings. The more the top 3 batsmen score before Taylor has to come to the wicket, the easier the job for him and the middle order to complete the job. Consistency in the top order is Zimbabwe's biggest weakness among playing on turning wickets outside of Zimbabwe.

3rd and series deciding ODI today. For Zimbabwe, Vitori has come in for Shingi which is an odd selection unless Shingi has picked up an injury as he's been in good form. Vitori hasn't played any first class cricket since being injured in the first half the Zimbabwean domestic season last year so it'll be interesting to see how he goes. He's form prior to his injury was pretty average. Zimbabwe have chosen to field first again.

Looked an absolute wreck against us. 120 kph pies, and he's not tall either.

edit: ...and now I choose to look at the scorecard. Post-tasting.

It does seem like it yes, and he may reconsider, but on the whole I'm not a fan of keeper-captains, or of 21-year-olds being put in charge of Test teams. Bangladesh don't have a lot of other options though do they. Mahmudullah perhaps?
