*Official* Bangladesh in West Indies

No way, pup. Cozier is thinking with his heart, not his brain. The issue at hand is that of a cash crunch. If the WI players haven't been paid for 4 series', the only explanation is a lack of funds (or the appearance of) at the WICB. Its now plain obvious that the ODI series against India was scheduled for the sole purpose of tiding over that crisis. Now that the series is over, and the WI players have held up their end of the bargain, they have demanded to see some of those earnings trickling down their way. They have been denied still, which reflects poorly on the financial incompetence of the fat cats at the WICB. Withdrawing from cricket for 3-4 years would sound the death knell for WI cricket; no play would equate to no income. The only solution, obviously unlikely to be put into place, would be to dissolve the current WICB and get a new set of board members installed.
Like Murray Goodwin once described of the ZCU, playing for your country is an honour and money shouldn't come into it. At least that is the impression I got.

Which is wgy Murray Goodwin continues to shine for Sussex his counrty of birth [/CYNICAL SHUTDOWN]

Anyway, if the ICC still had any authority they should probably consider suspending West Inies from cricketing activeites on the grounds of:

1. Failing to guarantee its strongest available side for Test cricket
2. Devaluing Test cricket for reason above

The nleave them suspended until the board can hammer out a proper agreement with its own players.

Early strike for Tino, his first test wicket in four years and another failure for Iqbal.

This is laughable from the Bangla Boys.

Shame the Windies haven't got one or two ringers in their squad (a Morton, Joseph even a Marshall), as their batting looks rancid and short (just four 'real' batsman + keeper).

Yeah, I question their selection a little bit. I realise the ridiculous circumstances that were at play, but Miller is basically playing as a specialist sixth bowler (in the first innings at least). Brathwaite should've played ahead of one of the spinners IMO.

Oh right! There's a match on! Mother****ing cricket board. I am not watching this bs. I might as well walk down the street and watch some kids play cricket.

Tbf, Miller has been a much better bowler at domestic level than Austin. Austin took 9 in the warmup fixture, and has leapfrogged him based on that alone.
