Bresnan retains his place in the side then. Just hoping Tamim carves him all over Trent Bridge today so they finally drop him. Looking forward to watching Ian Bell at 3 too, he's been fantastic to watch in the One Day and T20 games he's played for Warwickshire on Sky. Kieswetter could really do with some runs also, if he fails in this series then it will almost certainly be goodbye.

Bresnan still looking ****ing awful. If he can't even look threatening against Bangladesh, how can we expect him to open in the World Cup? Sooner we get rid of him the better. Jimmeh not exactly looking brilliant either.

No idea. Just wish we could open with Broad at both ends. He's our only International class ODi bowler ATM. Really need Fred to get fit.

This is the sloppiest England have been in the field for a long, long time. Been more mis-fields and runs given away than I've seen from us for a while. Just hope it doesn't come back to bite them later in the game.

Seems the selectors grew a brain and dropped Ashraful. Not only that but they replaced him with Faisal Hossain who has the most runs in Bangladesh domestic cricket, and also Raqibal is back too. Here's hoping they don't play Hossain at 8 though.

Really don't understand why Strauss continues to bowl Collingwood. Yardy's looked as threatening as anyone, and picked up a wicket, yet Collingwood continues to bowl, despite not really looking threatening. Has been a pattern of Strauss's ODi captaincy, Swann and Yardy never seemed to complete their compliment in the ODi series against the Aussies. Get Yardy back on FFS.

This is a very good batting wicket..England notched up 390 the last time they played Bangladesh here..
so if Bangladesh dont mess up the last 10 overs..they should get a 270 plus score... should be an excellent game of goold old ODI cricket
