Yeah he's almost 35 so the eye will begin to go a bit/ Just something he needs to be aware of and watch for. Opening doesn't help the issue but overall he helps the team.
It's his movement across the crease. He literally cannot reach some of these balls on middle stump because he's moved so far outside the line of the ball. It's a good nut but from that line, any movement in and he's in huge trouble

I really don't understand why this season he's gone like three miles across his crease to the point where he's missing balls on off stump because he can't reach them
He needs to go back and watch some highlights from the last home summer vs SA And WI. His trigger movement was way less exaggerated there and wasn't walking across nearly as far.
