Feels like they are mentally shot. They no doubt expected to get Hazlewood in the first over or two if the day and all downhill when that didn’t come to be

I can't deal with this. I'd accept it from Zimbabwe but not from New Zealand at home. It isn't good enough and things have to change.

Just saw the run out. Plain bizarre how many international, experienced batsmen are getting the absolute basics of calling and running wrong at the moment. That's gone straight behind him, wtf is Young doing ball watching?
Agreed, I think the collision also overshadowed how risky a run it was. Seemed pretty unnecessary from KW second ball and would’ve been touch and go with the direct hit.

Hard to sum up how trash those last three wickets were. Pretty frustrated with Williamson himself tbh, Young contributed but that was not a good call.

To address the mental weakness against Australia, start with players that perform well against other teams but always fail in every format against Australia - Southee and Latham are total flakes vs Australia.

Nah, the Aussie side is far superior, as they always are, and will bury NZ as they always do.

Then, as they always do, Kiwi supporters will refuse to accept that their side is just objectively inferior and try to blame the loss on some Australia-specific psychological issue

Mark Richardson saying something like "well this just happens sometimes".

Well it shouldn't happen to a test team, that sort of stuff should only happen in junior cricket or park level cricket with a bunch of amateurs.

Even at that standard what has happened so far would be embarrassing, let alone a test team.

In the US, main sources of watching cricket is ESPN or Willow and ESPN is so much better that it’s not even comparable. Even though both cost the same, and ESPN also includes *ALL* the other ESPN content.
Coverage is far more limited now on ESPN. We didn't even get the U19 WC, and outside the 50 over WC, the only intentional coverage we get is from New Zealand. We was getting India home fixtures but they've gone.
