Stupidly enough, yes, but I read an article not too long ago suggesting he had no interest in playing for England again.

It's crazy, but technically possible. He was played in the wrong formats tbh. His scoring rate was always slow and is a dire twenty20 player. Would've made a great replacement for Collingwood in tests though.

Generally there is a lot of excitement on forums and from people I know, it's a sport which is getting bigger over here, just drove by a field where kids had stumps and bats out playing Cricket,

where it used to be football and rugby, so it's getting there.

also Ireland spent a month in India training, so I imagine it will help,

NL were fourth in qualifying - lost three matches, to UAE among others. Ireland won.

In the same group as Bangladesh as well. Group B is definitely a lot more challenging when it comes to qualifying for the quarters.

Yeah, with Pakistan's ongoing woes and NZ not the ODI force of recent times either there does look a marked difference between the groups.

Meh, England have only just managed to scrape past Canada and the Netherlands, and the Windies aren't exactly overflowing with quality at the moment either. The Minnows are definately stronger in Pool B though.

Bangladesh > Zim
Ireland > Kenya
Netherlands > Canda

Should be 12 teams in future. Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Ireland (at least as of now) are all good enough to at least compete in the ODI format, particularly in conditions that suit them.

If 2015 CWC is 10 team format, there should be qualifiers some wat like this:

2013 Qualifiers in Scotland should be made WCL - Div 1 only to grant ODI status. Lets say the new ODI nations are:

1) Ireland
2) Afghanistan
3) The Netherlands
4) Scotland
5) Namibia
6) Kenya

These new ODI nations should then play qualifiers in place of Div 1:
