Love this phrase ?English mediocrity spam XI
And that's despite averaging like 80 against Bangladesh + Zimbabwe.Guptill played 47 and is 29. something
to think I replied to your post semi-seriously....Which one kept bowling wides
Edit: yep, that's it
I will not stand idly by while you besmirch the good name of Shaun Udal. The reason why a lot of people love him is because he was always consistently mediocre at a time where all of the alternatives were genuinely awful
I initially had Bell instead of Collingwood as the troll pick tooton think I replied to your post semi-seriously....
Australia had an embarrassment of riches to choose from in Martyn's era and England had just two good batsmen in Bairstow's era, one of which retired mid way through his career.Didn't know Bairstow has 70 plus tests. And Damien Martyn only played 67 wtf is wrong with this world
Bairstow does also overlap with Strauss, Trott, Bell, Pietersen, Prior and others. Granted all of them at the tail end pretty much. So I’m not sure what my point is.Australia had an embarrassment of riches to choose from in Martyn's era and England had just two good batsmen in Bairstow's era, one of which retired mid way through his career.
Udal was actually good imo. Way better than the dreadful Ian Blackwell, Alex Loudon, Richard Dawson and Gareth Batty.I will not stand idly by while you besmirch the good name of Shaun Udal.
I think this to myself as I get towards the end of most of my posts. And spoken sentences in real life.Bairstow does also overlap with Strauss, Trott, Bell, Pietersen, Prior and others. Granted all of them at the tail end pretty much. So I’m not sure what my point is.
Loudon was a batsman tbf. Not a very good one mind youUdal was actually good imo. Way better than the dreadful Ian Blackwell, Alex Loudon, Richard Dawson and Gareth Batty.
They picked Loudon because he'd developed a "doosra" and they thought it was worth a punt. A guy called Shaftab Khalid who played a couple of years at Worcester also got on a Lions tour for the same reason despite negligible impacts in county cricket.I think this to myself as I get towards the end of most of my posts. And spoken sentences in real life.

Yeah I remember that and he left her because she wasn't up to standard hahaWait, was Loudon the guy who was with Pippa Middleton for a little while?
I know how it happened tbh it was just a whinge at the universeAustralia had an embarrassment of riches to choose from in Martyn's era and England had just two good batsmen in Bairstow's era, one of which retired mid way through his career.
If the universe was really cruel Bairstow would have been Australian.I know how it happened tbh it was just a whinge at the universe
Bairstow vs Head vs Wade vs Paine ( assume he is not Captain)? If the universe was really cruel Bairstow would have been Australian.
