I thought JGP was the nailed on, then a decision between the other 4 as to who wouldn't travel. All moot I guess. Looking forward to the tour.

Very good point, like a good 2nd rower. Though I'd say Dupont is streets ahead of every 9 and he's very noticable when hes on, so not sure the quiet achiever tag is one most 9's would want. Fair point about Northampton though, I've seen 0 of the games as no clue where/how to watch and I'm not getting another sports subscription to do so.
Yeah, only seen try highlights. One of the greatest games in European Club Rugby History had more in the ground watching than on TV.

And as for scrum halves, most are only really as good as the pack they sit behind. But the odd few shine no matter what, Dupont being the best example.

Well, Joseph Sua'ali'i has just taken a knee to the side of the head and is out cold, looked really bad, suspect might be out quite a long time.

Scrum halves are like wicket keepers. It's a complete disaster if they don't do the basics well, but that's a low enough bar that being a properly good one requires offering something more.
