Lions tour 2025

I thought JGP was the nailed on, then a decision between the other 4 as to who wouldn't travel. All moot I guess. Looking forward to the tour.

Very good point, like a good 2nd rower. Though I'd say Dupont is streets ahead of every 9 and he's very noticable when hes on, so not sure the quiet achiever tag is one most 9's would want. Fair point about Northampton though, I've seen 0 of the games as no clue where/how to watch and I'm not getting another sports subscription to do so.
Yeah, only seen try highlights. One of the greatest games in European Club Rugby History had more in the ground watching than on TV.

And as for scrum halves, most are only really as good as the pack they sit behind. But the odd few shine no matter what, Dupont being the best example.

Well, Joseph Sua'ali'i has just taken a knee to the side of the head and is out cold, looked really bad, suspect might be out quite a long time.

Scrum halves are like wicket keepers. It's a complete disaster if they don't do the basics well, but that's a low enough bar that being a properly good one requires offering something more.

Yeah probably a better spot for it, other thread would drown lol.

Lions getting some assistance from messr Doleman, think Morgan lucky to not be pinged on the scrum for slipping his bind to drive into the argies ribs.

This being a yellow card is a joke. Both players reaching for the ball.

...good adjustment to penalty only, but it's not even a penalty. Does Smith get penalised if the Argie 8 gets the ball first?

Smith, M isn't a full back's ringpiece, is he?

Too much of a sameness about Aki and Tuipulotu for me as well. Need a touch more guile in the centres.

And bugger. Argies deserve that though. Very much the better team.

Great try for the Argies.

The problem for the Lions is picking too many northern hemisphere players. They need some more Kiwis like Bundee in there
