We don't realise how tough living brought on young men to be the best they can be in cricket or whatever facet of life in those years. It shaped them.

Loved that insert Atherton did in the SA Test at Trent Bridge last year. I think the cricket library there is the 2nd largest after at Lord's.

Would love to find that map that is up in the library showing where all Notts cricketers were born.

You're right that Bodyline remains an emotive subject, even 85 years later - only this month the Cricket Statistician included a passionate piece from David Frith on the subject.
