International Coach
Yorkshire tried him at 3 some seasons back then realised he was more suited to 5 or 6.
The England selectors, once again, have erred.

Another thing those two have in common is that Ballance was never a #3 either but got crowbarred into the spot for England because nobody else wanted it. Both better coming in later in the order. It's all remarkably similar to Garry Ballance isn't it ?
Yorkshire batting prospect makes flying start for England ..
Gary Ballance got to his first 1000 test runs in just 17 innings at an average of 67.93 , 4 Test hundreds
Harry Brook is on 953 runs from 16 innings @ 63.53 , 4 Test Hundreds
Be interesting to see if Brook can consolidate from here or will his performances decline like Ballance.
Please continue to make threads like this for each England player. Does the trick every time! The more time goes on, he's bang average aint he. Feasting on tracks like Rawalpindi. Can't believe he was beating Bradman stats initially..
What? He didn't destroyed Johnson.Whatever he does in his career he'll always be remembered for destroying the greatest left-armer since Wasim.

Who ****in doesn’tGuy averages more than Steve Smith in this series
I think this series will have done him the world of good.Finishes with 363 @ 40. He will be a bit disappointed with that - which speaks volumes after years of us dying for anyone not called Joe to average 40
Memory is gone atm!I think this series will have done him the world of good.
As the series has gone on, he's general played in a more orthodox style - the baseball shots and wild slogging have largely disappeared.
He's a seriously talented player who will be the backbone of our batting for the next decade or so.
Can't wait to see him in India, obviously Ashwin could destroy him but also could be the difference maker if we get some low scoring shoot outs. Box office cricketer IMO.Finishes with 363 @ 40.
