Expeditious Draft- real quick

Saint Kopite

First Class Debutant
Wasim and Miller to share the new ball with Garner the first change. Rhodes and Kallis as the fourth and fifth bowling options respectively. If needed Border could also chip in with some overs to give the fast bowlers some rest.

Laxman batted a lot at No.3 and should have stayed there IMO. Dravid was a 'Rock', but first-drop demands someone more dynamic.
The issue was before Gambhir came into the team, there was only Viru along with some average opener. So, we generally lost the first wicket early due to some poor shot selection or Viru or the other opener being exposed for not being good enough. We needed Dravid's solidity there. Another factor is, Laxman was great at playing with the tail.

Yet another superlative bowling attack chock full of great bowlers. When the teams eventually get posted I'll be looking for batting lineups with some good technicians who can hold the side together and score decent runs. Counterpunchers are also important.

Marshall-Trueman-Roberts-O'Reilly-Macartney is a superb attack kyear. Plus you have one of my favourite keepers.
