Durham win all 5 of their matches in the Zimbabwe Domestic T20 competition.

Take on the Mountaineers in tomorrows final, who they beat by 53 runs in the first match.

Impressive and i didn't know this was happening
Our third pre season in Zimbabwe.

First one playing in their domestic competition however.

Played two 3 day FC games against Zimbabwe A too and won both of them on this tour.

Games have been live on Zimbabwe cricket Facebook and YouTube.

All 6 teams play again today in a fifth place and third place play off. Then final at 5pm UK time.

This is the sort of thing that really annoys me. I would like to see a county or counties take a stand and say ‘make yourself available for the whole season or don’t play for us at all’. Having players come and go goes against cricket being a club or squad game. I realise that, as things stand, the likes of Hales could switch to another county. To prevent this, Perhaps such ‘part time signings’ could be counted as overseas players.

Sutherland out due to an 'unspecified injury' - I'd be willing to bet a recurrence of last year's back stress fracture.

CA have withdrawn Hardie from his stint with Surrey.
As others have mentioned previously Sutherland and Pucovski will not play either.

Four Lancashire players now in the IPL: Wood and Salt called up to join Livingstone and Buttler. Anyone would think Lancs had recently won a trophy.

This one's pretty ridiculous. He's not even a lock for any squads, let alone as a starter. He wasn't down to play a huge number of matches either.

He's already missed most of the Sheffield Shield season to play a light smattering of white ball internationals. He's a more promising red ball cricketer but CA seems determined to stunt the possible test development of any young prospect by having them in white ball squads rather than getting first class experience. No wonder we struggle to produce test batsmen.

Ackermann too. Who we really need for the one day cup as otherwise we've only got Drissell left in the spin department(not counting Borthwick he only bowled 9 overs in the competition last season)
Clark drafted but not Ackermann.
On a quick look I think Graham Clark and Josh Hull are the only domestic players drafted today who have not played franchise cricket previously in England although obviously Clark was a non-playing injury replacement last year. Might change with the wild cards but still plenty of ex-franchise players can be picked at that stage as well.
They are not developing players.
Just a pay day for the experienced?

First pre-season UCCE game (18th March Leicestershire v Bradford/Leeds) recorded on cricket archive over night as abandoned no toss.

See all clubs have ignored Warner. Only one of the best T20 players ever and type of star they wanted to attract since it's inception.

As you say just seems a pay day for county players instead of having the best players.

The American one will have better players on show I'm sure.

Is it that he, and some of the other big names overlooked, were only going to be available for a short spell?

Moving from New Road to Kidderminster makes no difference: Worcester's friendly versus Durham UCCE abandoned.
Still no cricket in England?
